IGN has released the 10 best selling PC games of 2008. They were:
Spore (Electronic Arts)
Age of Conan: Hyborian Adventures (Funcom)
Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning (Electronic Arts)
The Sims 2 FreeTime (Electronic Arts)
Spore Creature Creator (Electronic Arts)
Sins of a Solar Empire (Stardock)
The Sims 2 Apartment Life (Electronic Arts)
The Sims 2 Kitchen & Bath Interior Design Stuff (Electronic Arts)
Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War - Soulstorm (THQ)
The Sims Castaway Stories (Electronic Arts)
Sins of a Solar Empire made the top 10 despite having no CD copy protection or DRM and with half its revenue coming through digital distribution via Impulse which isn't counted in the official sales tallies.
